Bento Box Design Templates

In the last 2 years we've made it a rule to not feature Figma templates that are just single homepage designs or just a landing page design. Our goal is to showcase complete templates not singular pages, as so many other design resource websites do that already. But we're going to make an exception this one time, as this design is so beautiful and is layered with so many interesting design feautures we just can't ignore it, we're calling this: orgasmic design. It's that good.

The largest website design trend for 2024 is without doubt Bento Box design and this free Figma template is a stunning example of this. But first...

What is Bento Box Design?
Bento Box design is the visualisation of a grid of content boxes each containing unique information. This grid usually contains just rectangle and square shapped components that fit together in a visually pleasing way. The shapes always have rounded edges to emulate a Japanese Bento Box that you would buy in a restaurant at lunch time. Apple has been widely referenced as the company that made this design aesthetic popular, but Bento Box design has been around as long as websites have existed. Though it's only in 2024 that it's being paired with extremely high quality photography, eye popping color and clean white fonts.

So that's a quick rundown, now let's talk about this free Figma template: the team at Prødux Design have created a really excellent design by combining vibrant tangerine with black and white photgraphy and well structured cards that feel like simplified credit cards. Even if you don't wish to create a bento box website design, you could still take the card components and use them seperately to add some visual flourishes to your own website design.
